Seeking a seasonal summer Property Manager/Guest Liaison to manage upkeep of upscale retreat on the world-famous Kenai River between April 5th and September 30, 2025. You'll help us set the cabins and grounds up for the summer season, handle daily maintenance and upkeep, interact with guests and help us close the property down for winter at the end of the season.  Perched on a cliff surrounded by wildlife and spectacular river and snowcapped mountain views, this secluded 7-acre property boasts seven luxurious guest cabins, a main lodge/dining hall, an indoor pickleball court, a standalone happy hour/event space, a fully appointed gym, a greenhouse, riverbank salmon fishing, an infrared sauna, and a large fire pit for campfires and outdoor cooking.

Specific responsibilities include grounds and building maintenance, getting provisions from town, airport pick-ups for guests, vehicle maintenance/cleaning, caring for four dogs that reside at the retreat, monitoring the buildings and property to ensure safety, interacting with guests on site and occasionally transporting them to excursions.  Not required but helpful are previous lodge experience, experience working in the Alaskan outdoors, sockeye salmon fishing knowledge, and any skills that add to our guests' experience on the property.

The candidate will have excellent time management and communication/interpersonal skills, be in good physical shape with the ability to lift 40 pounds, and assist other staff as needed from time to time. This is a full-time position, average of 40 hrs/week over the course of the season, $17,000-$20,000 salary for the season, payable weekly, and includes housing in a fully furnished private cabin, utilities, laundry, great Internet, and use of a vehicle as part of the compensation package. Fish, hike, kayak, and explore Alaska's Kenai Peninsula in your off hours!
