Kachemak Bay Adventures offers guided kayaking and hiking tours based in beautiful Homer, Alaska, on the Kenai Peninsula.
We are a locally owned and operated family business with extensive knowledge and experience of Kachemak Bay. We are always excited to share fun adventure exploring the beautiful coastlines, diverse flora & fauna, and the picturesque Kenai mountain range. We focus our tours on the rich history, marine life, and geology of this place we call home.
At Kachemak Bay Adventures, we maintain a friendly and team-orientated environment consisting of people who love the natural world and are eager to share with others the wonders of Kachemak Bay.
Our Tours
We offer four different kayak tour experiences throughout Kachemak Bay State Park, ranging from half-day to full-days. These tours include exploring the coves, rock arches, and intertidal world of Kachemak Bay. The terrestrial portion of tours take guests through alpine terrain into the Kenai Mountains to view Grewingk Glacial Lake. One tour includes leading guests in inflatable kayaks to paddle around icebergs to view the face of Grewingk glacier. The structure of these tours allows our guides to use different routes and creatively lead guests on their Alaskan adventures. Over the length of the summer season, our guides will explore the changing environments of the bay, witnessing the migration of birds, blooming of flowers, raising of calves & cubs, and changing color of salmon.
