Line Cook

We’re looking for creative and reliable individuals to join our Idletyme kitchen team! At Idletyme Brewing Company you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence of our kitchen operations of our brewpub, from food quality to ensuring the seamless coordination of kitchen activities and contributing to the overall success of our establishment. Reporting directly to Kitchen Leadership, the Line Cook is responsible for assisting in daily kitchen operations, maintaining quality standards, and collaborating with the culinary team to deliver an exceptional dining experience at Idletyme.

Responsibilities include

• Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and adherence to recipes.

• Execute prep lists, production lists, and daily opening and closing lists.

• Demonstrate expertise in various cooking techniques and lead by example in executing to perfection.

• Adherence to food safety standards and regulations, implementing best practices to maintain a safe kitchen environment.

• Foster effective communication with both the FOH and BOH teams and management and to enhance overall restaurant operations.

• Execute efficient opening and closing procedures, contributing to the smooth transition between shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role in a high-volume kitchen.

• Proficient in cooking techniques.

• Familiarity with food safety regulations.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Reliable transportation
