Historic Skagway Inn
Job List

Our Jobs

Our summer season and workloads are based on visitation and the cruise ship schedule.  The first ship is April 23rd which is early this year and extends to October 7th.  Realistically we are busy from mid-June to mid-September.  Prior to the interview, we will provide additional information to acquaint you with what Skagway has to offer.

We do training and familiarization each Monday starting at 9 am. This training takes up to 8 hours to complete.  It's our time to get you ready for your role at the Skagway Inn.  Whether you will be handling food or not all positions require an Alaska Food Handlers card which is easily obtained when you arrive.   Those handling alcohol are required to take the State of Alaska TAMS training.

Housing in Skagway is at a premium and generally not available on the open market unless you have some inside connection.  We have a few beds available (see the details in our profile) but not enough to go around.
