Server/Hostess/Busser - Part-Time (No Housing)
Server/Host/Busser (Must be at least 18 years of age) Complete job description provided prior to interview. Take great care of customers. Provide menus and detailed menu information to guests as appropriate. Take orders and serve food and beverages (Alcoholic & Non Alcoholic) to patrons at tables in dining establishment. Collect payments from guests. Complete side work lists to maintain order and cleanliness of dining room. Turn over room to next shift prepared and in good order. Requires: State of Alaska TAMS training and State of Alaska Food Handlers Card (All easily obtained).
Utility Part-Time (No Housing)
These jobs are designed for people with housing in Skagway desiring a second job. We need to know your availability (days of week / times of day) , your available dates of employment and we can go from there. Check with your primary employer to determine your realistic availability. During interview we can explain what is currentlty available. In person interviews (at Historic Skagway Inn) are preferred, however, especially for those currently out of town, we arrange internet zoom interviews.
Sous Chef

Line Cook
Complete job description provided prior to interview. Responsible for general operation of kitchen from sanitation, production, and quality of food service. Prepare, season, and cook dishes such as soups, meats, vegetables, or desserts in restaurant based on approved recipes. May order supplies, keep records and accounts, prepare Daily Prep List, conduct weekly inventories, Complete food production based on Prep List. Plus scheduled overtime at time and a half and end of season bonus, details provided during interview. Housing available.
