The Line Cook will be responsible for executing restaurant food in accordance with provided menus, recipes, and presentation standards. They will also be responsible for proper cleaning and sanitation, safety standards, and effective communication with team members. They will assist in guiding and training other restaurant cooks as well as directly support the management and supervisory team.

Huntington House Tavern at the Grand Lake Lodge serves brunch, lunch, and dinner 7 days a week. The dining room boasts the best views of Grand Lake, Shadow Mountain Lake, and the surrounding Rocky Mountain range. Our menu features as many local and scratch-made ingredients as possible, including locally raised and processed prime-aged beef and locally grown wild mushrooms.

Highway West Vacations is our parent company, with other lodging locations in California, Oregon, Hawaii, Idaho, and New Hampshire - all locations are unique in their own ways! Our company culture preaches Communication, Relationships, Empowerment, Accountability, Transparency, and Excitement. We strive to align our guest's experiences with the adventure they seek.

At the Grand Lake Lodge, we offer housing and meals at a small fee (our employee dining room offers self-serve breakfast, hot lunch, and dinner). We also allow our team members to rent kayaks and paddleboards for their enjoyment, free of charge. We are steps from many hiking trails in Rocky Mountain National Park and the Arapaho National Forest. Our property is open seasonally from May 19 through early October.
