Leadership & Culture
Act as a senior leader within the hotel, contributing to overall strategy, culture, and performance
Build, inspire, and lead a high-performing FOH team through coaching, development, and accountability

Partner closely with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless FOH/BOH collaboration and unified vision
Champion an environment of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement
Restaurant, Bar & Retail Experience
Lead all front-of-house operations across restaurant, bar, coffee/retail shop, and private dining spaces
Elevate service standards with strong attention to detail
Curate and evolve the beverage program including wine, beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic offerings
Stay ahead of F&B trends and the competitive set in Whitefish; implement enhancements to maintain market leadership
Ensure all outlets deliver consistent, high-quality, and memorable guest experiences
Events & Banquets
Oversee all banquet and event operations including weddings, corporate events, and social functions
Maximize utilization and revenue of 19,000+ sq ft of total indoor event space
Collaborate with Sales and Culinary teams to design exceptional event experiences
Ensure flawless execution of all events with strong attention to detail, timing, and guest satisfaction
Revenue Growth & Programming
Drive revenue through innovative programming including seasonal events, themed dinners, and local partnerships
Plan and execute signature events (e.g., holiday brunches, wine dinners, community activations)
Develop sales strategies, upsell initiatives, and incentive programs to increase average check and profitability
Leverage local partnerships with breweries, distilleries, and wineries to enhance offerings and drive traffic
Financial & Operational Excellence
Own and manage F&B financial performance including revenue, labor, cost of goods, and profitability
Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports and adjust operations accordingly
Maintain strong cost controls including labor management, inventory, and portion control
Oversee ordering, receiving, and inventory of all FOH supplies, alcohol, and equipment
Guest Experience
Lead by example in delivering exceptional, personalized guest service
Actively engage with guests to gather feedback and build relationships
Respond to and resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally
Drive improvements in guest satisfaction scores and online reputation
Team Management
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management of all FOH staff
Ensure proper staffing levels aligned with business demand
Develop future leaders within the F&B team
Maintain accurate timekeeping, payroll, and compliance with labor standards
Compliance & Standards
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations including responsible alcohol service
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards always
Uphold Pursuit brand standards and operational procedures
Support sustainability initiatives aligned with Pursuit’s “Promise to Place” philosophy
Skills & Abilities
4+ years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience in full-service or luxury hotels/resorts
Strong experience in banquet/events operations and high-end dining environments
Proven expertise in bar and beverage program management
Demonstrated success driving revenue growth and managing profitability
Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire and develop teams
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
High energy, positive attitude, and creative mindset
Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant management software
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Commitment to exceptional guest service and operational excellence
Organized with strong attention to detail
Flexible, adaptable, and solutions-oriented
Compensation range for this role is between $65,000 and $75,000.
