Glacier Outfitters is an outdoor gear rental shop located in beautiful Glacier National Park, Montana. We have two locations, Glacier Park International Airport and in the iconic Apgar Village, located inside Glacier National Parks West Entrance. We focus on getting guests excited to be in Glacier and help prepare them for their adventure!

We're looking for team players who are excited about Glacier, the outdoors, and getting others excited about their adventure!

Job Duties include:

• Answering questions accurately, and friendly, about Glacier and our services

• Providing high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment

• Prepping and receiving returned gear (kayaks, bikes, fishing gear, hiking gear, camping gear, etc.)

• Educating guests about gear and the environment they will be adventuring in

Required Skills:

• Excellent Customer Service + Sales skills

• Basic computer literacy

• Able and willing to lift up to 50lbs

Desired But Not Required Skills:

• Experience with biking, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, hiking, backpacking, and camping are a big plus

• Knowledge of Glacier Park and the surrounding area, or willingness to learn

Season Dates: May 5th to September 30th, 2026. With peak season between Late May - early September.  At this time we need candidates who are available to start on May 5th and work into part, or all, of September. Interview priority will be given to those with the earliest start dates.

Shifts: 4 x 10 hour shifts: Leaving you with 3 days to adventure!

Pay: $14 an hour. Additionally, 20% commission on damage waivers sold, plus tips--which typically adds on $1-$2 extra per hour.

Perks: Double Occupancy Employee Housing may be available for a small fee, Employee Glacier National Park Pass, access to use of shop gear, discounted pricing on brand-name gear (pro-deals and dealer pricing), and working with GREAT people in the BEAUTIFUL outdoors!

Housing: We offer double occupancy employee housing, off site. A vehicle is REQUIRED to get to/from work, which is about a 20-30 minute drive. Housing includes the use of a private bathroom (max 4 people per bathroom), kitchen and free laundry. Housing costs ($250/month) will be deducted per pay period. As a bonus, we will return your housing costs at the completion of your contract. If you break your contract by leaving early or being fired, you will not receive the refund/bonus.
