Geddy's Retail Shops in beautiful downtown Bar Harbor, Maine, are seeking experienced Retail Sales Associates who enjoy working with people and take pride in delivering exceptional customer service. We are looking for dependable, customer-focused professionals who thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and take pride in their work.
As a Retail Sales Associate, you'll help create memorable experiences for guests from around the world by providing outstanding customer service, maintaining attractive merchandise displays, operating the register, and keeping our stores clean, organized, and welcoming.
Responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service
Assist customers with merchandise selection and purchases
Operate point-of-sale systems accurately
Maintain attractive merchandise displays
Keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked
Work collaboratively with team members
Qualifications
Previous retail sales experience required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, friendly demeanor
Dependable and detail-oriented
Comfortable working in a busy seasonal environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as needed

We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our sales team at both Geddy's Down-Under and Geddy's By The Sea and to be part of a positive shopping experience for our guests.

- Employee housing is provided at a nominal cost. Shared apartments are dorm-style with one private room, two shared rooms, one bathroom, a kitchen, and common living area. They are located in the heart of downtown Bar Harbor - a short distance to Geddy's By The Sea and Geddy's Down-Under. Also, walking distance to restaurants, shops, the waterfront, and the free bus shuttle to Acadia National Park and other areas of Mount Desert Island.
