Spend your summer outdoors on Orcas Island, helping prepare and care for the beautiful grounds of Four Winds Camp while living in a vibrant, close-knit community.

Four Winds Camp is seeking a seasonal Groundskeeper to support the preparation and upkeep of our 100+ acre property on Orcas Island in Washington’s San Juan Islands. This role focuses on hands-on outdoor work including weed whacking, mowing, pressure washing, trail clearing, and supporting our garden through planting, watering, and weeding—helping get camp ready for a full summer season. You’ll be part of a collaborative, hardworking team that values stewardship, simplicity, and connection to the natural world. Housing is provided, and you’ll live on-site with staff who are passionate about camp, community, and creating a meaningful experience for campers. This is a seasonal position running May through July, ideal for someone who enjoys physical outdoor work, takes pride in maintaining beautiful spaces, and wants to be part of a unique and purpose-driven environment.

Preferred candidates have gardening experience, including an understanding of plant selection, seasonal planting, and basic garden care. Position begins May 1, with the option to start earlier if you’re available.
