- Safe operation, cleaning, and general up keep of a passenger vessel.
- Safe vessel tie up to docks, piers, ships and moorings;
- Positive communication with client crew;
- Passenger embarkation/debarkation safety and operation;
- Repair and modification of related equipment such as pumps, lines, hoses;
- Grease, lube, and maintenance of the marine systems;
- Maintain accurate logs and records;
- Interacts with customers and management in a professional manner;
- Dock hand work as well as supporting non-motorized waterfront operations.
- Current and valid USCG License and valid TWIC card required.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Previous dock/marina experience preferred.
- Ability to work remotely with little direct supervision;
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects and/or equipment;
- Ability to take and adhere to instructions;
- Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with others;
- Small boat handling skills, passenger vessel experience a plus.

- Must be capable of performing emergency duties as listed in the vessel’s station bill
- Vision must be correctible to 20/40 with full color vision and no night blindness.

- Marina, boat and dock maintenance equipment.
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, daily menus, and supervisor instructions.
- Clean and inspect kitchen equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas in order to ensure cleanliness and functional operation.
- Operate food station, including performing station checklist, temperature log, counter meeting, and signage.
- Requisition food supplies, kitchen equipment, and appliances, based on estimates of future needs.
- Monitor menus and spending in order to ensure that meals are prepared economically.
- Maintain awareness of safety issues, and report them immediately to your manager.
- Partial High School education required; High School Diploma/G.E.D. preferred.

- Check and replace all missing safety items to include pfds, throw cushions, boat hooks, etc.
- Assist with refueling gas tanks.
- Assist with pump-outs of holding tanks
- Assist with refilling of water holding tanks.
- Clean and ensure showers, sinks, vanity shelves, toilets, and soap dishes are spot, mold, mildew, and dust free.
- Sweep and mop all floors.
- Dust all lights and sconces, make-up mirrors, and lampshades.
- Perform laundry duties as assigned.
- Notify Supervisor of all quality control issues or needed repairs pertaining to the housekeeping of the facility.
- Operate “chase boat” to retrieve guests and captains from houseboats from the drop off/pick up point
