Spend your summer cooking breakfast at a historic waterfront inn in Boothbay, Maine. Five Gables Inn is seeking a Breakfast Chef to prepare and serve daily breakfast for our guests during the 2026 season. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking, working independently, and being part of a small hospitality team in a beautiful coastal town.
Five Gables Inn is a small, guest focused property with a friendly, collaborative atmosphere. Breakfast is an important part of the guest experience, and we take pride in serving fresh, well prepared meals each morning. Our recipes and service style follow the Five Gables Inn Cookbook, which provides the foundation for the menu while allowing room for creativity and consistency.
The Breakfast Chef is responsible for preparing a rotating breakfast menu, plating and serving meals to guests, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and helping create a welcoming start to the day. The role works primarily in the mornings, typically beginning early and finishing by late morning or early afternoon.
The inn operates seasonally from May 15 through late October.
