About Firehole Ranch
As an Orvis endorsed lodge, our focus is on creating fantastic fly fishing experiences for our guests. Other activities include mountain biking, hiking, swimming and trail running. Our employees are known for providing exceptional guest service.
The Employee Experience
Work hard and play hard. All our employees are dedicated to providing world-class guest service with a positive, upbeat attitude.
23 staff plus 10 fishing guides make up our team. We strive to give each team member two consecutive days off per week to enjoy our local outdoors. This amount of liberty seldom exists in an industry where the "growing season," is from mid-May to the end of September. At Firehole Ranch we believe happy, well-rested staff will provide greater overall performance towards their work- so crucial to an excellent guest experience.
We are looking for responsible team members, with a skill set appropriate to the different positions. Most positions are "non-traditional". Staff must have a flexible, team-oriented attitude and the ability to live in a communal and fairly remote environment. Should love the outdoors and take advantage of all the area offers.
Room and Board
Room & Board is provided free of cost. Three meals a day and dormitory style accommodations. Rooms are single occupancy with shared bathrooms and laundry facilities.
Salary (DOE) and includes room and board. The Ranch also offers fishing, hiking, mountain biking and swimming. There are plenty of opportunities to get away on your time off to enjoy the area. Yellowstone is our backyard!
Getting Here and Getting Around
We are 18 miles from the town of West Yellowstone on the south side of Hebgen Lake. You can fly to West Yellowstone, Bozeman or Idaho Falls, but to take full advantage of the area we recommend bringing your own vehicle.
If you love the outdoors, this is the place for you! Enjoy camping, fishing, hiking, mountain biking and canoeing from the Ranch. On your days off explore Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks or travel to Bozeman, MT or Jackson Hole, WY.
