Counselors are the heart of the Fernwood Cove community.
Candidates should be caring, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about making a difference in the lives of young girls. Counselors live with and oversee all aspects of bunk life, while also serving as specialist activity instructors. They play an active role in evening activities, weekly Trip Days, and special events throughout the summer.
The role of a counselor is to care for, lead, supervise, guide and teach as a team with other staff in your bunk and in your activity instruction.
Staff come from around the world and together build a diverse, inclusive community — sharing their unique personalities, cultures, and talents as role models. The Fernwood Cove staff experience offers personal growth, lasting friendships and memories, practical and professional development of AI proof skills, such as: Communication, Feedback (giving and receiving), Behavior Management, Conflict Resolution.
We are seeking instructors for: Canoeing, General Childcare, High Ropes, Kayaking, Sailing, Wakeboard/Waterski, White Water Kayaking and Woodworking.
