Far Flung Adventures is an established and growing outdoor industry leader based in Taos, New Mexico with offices in Texas and seasonal operations across the southwest. While we offer many different types of tours, we are primarily a river tour outfitter that offers everything from self-guided tubing to multi-day wilderness camping, river and wilderness education for adults and youth, and advanced whitewater tours. We have two locations in Taos, NM, one of which features a retail store and event space where we also operate the rental, shuttle and river photography aspects of our business. In the winter months, October-April, we operate a tour business in Terlingua, Texas offering scenic and mellow canoe tours in the Big Bend area. 

Kitchen Manager and Reservationist, $18-22/hr + tips:

We are looking for a qualified food industry professional to manage the meal planning, shopping and packing for our full-day and multi-day tours and special catering events. Additional job responsibilities are to  clean and maintain work area and immediate grounds, help with office related tasks and reservations, and to drive shuttles and run errands. This seasonal full-time job will require you to be on site in New Mexico May thru September.

This is a full-time position. 

Reservation Specialist, $15-18/hr + tips:

Join our reservations team at a fast paced and growing outdoor business. This job entails a heavy sales component, both phone and email based. You will also learn the ins and outs of a robust reservation system, assist in scheduling and logistics, clerk in a retail store, help with shuttle driving and have the opportunity to learn some outdoor photography.

Photographer and Shuttle Driver, $13-17/hr + tips:

Enjoy a fun summer on the banks of the river in the beautiful Rio Grande Gorge! Based out of our Riverside location in Pilar, NM our photographer positions will take group photos and on-river action shots for river guests and do event photography for special events. You will also be expected to help with shuttle driving, store clerking and rentals. Some trails are rocky and you will be expected to navigate steep riverside terrain.
