WHAT YOU WILL DO (JOB SUMMARY)
The Recruiter is a key hourly position that works at Rush Creek Lodge and focuses mainly on all processes of talent acquisition for Evergreen Lodge, Rush Creek Lodge, and Firefall Ranch to support the overall recruitment goals of First Light Resort properties. This position primarily focuses on maintaining job postings and accurate, up-to-date job listings, finding professional candidates, confirming their qualifications, and helping to place them in open roles at the Lodges. Specific duties include screening candidates, assessing position fit, conducting Zoom interviews, handing off qualified candidates to department managers for 2nd interview, making offers to employees, guiding employees through the pre-arrival process, and coordinating housing and transportation needs.
The Recruiting Coordinator will take the lead on all Rush Creek Lodge onsite housing placement, requests, room prep, and coordinating maintenance and housekeeping needs, with the assistance of the Maintenance and Housekeeping department. Actively maintaining and managing housing is a key responsibility in order to help find appropriate candidates and accommodate their housing needs while at the same time supporting the needs of the current staff.
The Recruiter helps achieve and maintain the Lodge's overall staffing plans and reports directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager. The Recruiter will need to communicate directly with all department heads to help fulfill their staffing needs. The recruiter needs to support the Youth Employment Program. Additionally, the Recruiter tracks and reports on staffing analytics, competitive set metrics, and details of online recruitment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Building and maintaining a respectful, energized, well-trained, and engaged team
Seeking staff who are a great fit for our culture
Execute and help to refine established recruiting plans
Building relationships and maintaining contact with new hires pre-arrival
Execute and help assist applicants in identifying available positions
Work with Managers to identify internal resources and promotion
Track turnover and identify trends
Coordinate and maintain community resource and colleague recruitment relationships
Respond to employment inquiries (applications and referrals) in a timely manner
Conduct screening interviews for culture fit and basic work requirements
Monitor, communicate, and lead applicant progress from receipt of application through interview to conducting onboarding
When the opportunities arise, support interns in our Internship Program to help them be most successful in their work and at the lodge
Track and encourage department managers to have timely 2nd interviews and offers
Coordinate with Lodge leadership and Housing Management to establish and uphold onsite housing standards
Establish schedule housing inspections to ensure housing cleanliness and safety standards are being upheld
Assist with employee housing upkeep and cleanliness
Inspect rooms as needed
Notify current employees of housing changes, new arrivals, and inspection schedule
Check new employees into housing
Distribute and track keys provided to new employees
Provide notices to correct housing issues and concerns
Return rooms to move-in ready state after employee exit
Assist with managing housing conflicts and aid in communication between room/housemates
Assist with the development and implementation of SOPs for the success of employee housing
Assist with Employee Wellness when requested by the General Manager
Train in and assist with onboarding of new hires and transportation when requested by the General manager
Kindly and concisely communicate sensitive issues as they pertain to housing concerns
Inspect rooms upon employee exit to determine need for housing deposit deductions
Communicate professionally at all times with all staff and management
Support team members and interns while fostering a positive work environment
Work safely, address/report safety issues, and use proper personal protective equipment
Comply with work shift schedules and break requirements
Perform other duties as assigned, including additional lodge support as needed
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED; college degree preferred
Previous recruiting or interviewing experience essential
Experience successfully living/working in rural/remote environment preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical environment requires employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions, and to adhere to departmental uniform standards
Frequent walking, twisting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, sitting, climbing stairs
Ability to stand and move continuously
Lifting up to 50 pounds and moving carts weighing 300 pounds
Working with required chemicals and PPE
Shifts of up to 8 hours per day, plus periodic additional overtime hours and help covering additional shifts when needed
