Elk Creek Ranch is an exclusive hunting & fishing ranch operating 15,000 acres, 30 miles of private fishing, and an exceptional Lodge/Restaurant for Members and their Guests. With some of the finest fly fishing in the country on 20+ miles of the White River, we are a summer playground for our Owners and their guests. We also pride ourselves on a wonderful working environment for our employees.

Elk Creek Ranch is an exclusive, private fly fishing and hunting ranch located in Northwest Colorado, 15 miles east of the town of Meeker along the White River.
The Lodge Village features the Main Lodge for dining and entertaining. Members and their guests have the expectation of a fine dining experience. In addition to fly fishing and hunting, we also offer horseback riding, sporting clays, ATV rides, pheasant and chucker hunts, and an archery range.

Getting Here and Getting Around
Your own transportation is required. Staff housing is not on-site and the town of Meeker is 17 miles from the Ranch. Meeker is the closest option for groceries and gas.
Meeker has a grocery store, gas stations, restaurants, bars, post office, recreational center, library, banks, Dollar General, local small shops, and much more!
The Ranch is located about an hour away from Craig and Rifle, both have a City Market and Wal-Mart.

Current Job Openings
Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
Ensure all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and quality
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
Follow all health and hygiene standards
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work all shifts
Culinary degree or certificate preferred but not necessary
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting

Elk Creek Ranch offers employees an incredible seasonal experience with a unique clientele. We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals that can work from June 1st through November 30th.
Elk Creek Ranch operates as an exclusive hunting and fishing ranch that offers its Members and Guests phenomenal recreational experiences.
About Us: We have a constantly changing menu that is reflective of the seasons and provide three dining services per day. Our kitchen is respectful, supportive and open to teaching less experienced individuals. All of our cooking is from scratch and we focus on providing the best products in all regards. We are located along the White River just 30 miles from the Flat Tops Wilderness outside of Meeker, Colorado. There are endless opportunities to fish, camp, backpack, mountain bike and many other outdoor activities near where you will be working and living. We strive to make sure all employees maintain a reasonable schedule of less than 40 hours per week which allows for plenty of time to take advantage of our location. The ranch provides world class fishing and hunting opportunities for high profile owners at the ranch and the dining services are only available to them. Some days we only cook for two guests, other days we may be cooking for twenty.
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our team for the summer and fall season. There is potential for the position to continue after the season for the right candidate. The individual will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards. The ideal candidate will have a positive, team oriented and open minded approach to cooking and willingness to learn new techniques.
