Seasonal head cook opportunity in a beautiful Montana setting.

Dryhead Ranch is in search of a self starting individual that is flexible and willing. Experience is a bonus but not required. A normal week would consist of arrival Sunday evening to a light dinner, 3 meals Monday-Friday (with some sack lunches throughout the week that they pack themselves) and a light breakfast Saturday morning before departure. Schedule and meal times can vary in the spring as we trail our cattle the 50 miles from the farm in Wyoming to the ranch headquarters in Montana but most times breakfast is at 7AM, lunch between 12-1 and dinner at 6-6:30. We feed our guests hearty homecooked meals in a buffet style that the individual can decide upon or we can provide a menu to follow. Meals can follow many different cuisines we just prefer them to follow a guideline of a main course, potatoe/side, vegetable, salad, dessert. For example: lasagna, french bread, corn, salad and dessert or meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, salad. We are pretty flexible as long as the work is being completed efficiently. 

The position is for a head cook. Meals would be prepared for 25 +/- at each meal. A daily helper to clean, do dishes, perform basic cooking helps (cutting, peeling, errand running, etc.) is provided and can be used as they see helpful to their day.
