Come live and work in the stunning natural beauty of Orcas Island. Doe Bay Café is seeking experienced, professional servers for long-term positions at our fine dining restaurant, which features a true Seed-to-Table program. We highlight seasonal, organic, and locally sourced ingredients—including produce from our on-site garden and meat and seafood from premier local farms and fisheries.

What We're Looking For:
We’re hiring motivated, detail-oriented hospitality professionals with fine dining experience who are passionate about food, wine, and exceptional service. Candidates must be dependable, team-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced open kitchen environment. We are looking for year round AND seasonal employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver warm, knowledgeable, and attentive service

• Demonstrate in-depth menu and wine knowledge, including local purveyors and ingredients

• Take and serve orders with accuracy and professionalism

• Make thoughtful menu recommendations and upsell when appropriate

• Prepare and maintain a clean, well-organized service station

• Participate in side work, cleaning tasks, and inventory stocking

• Adhere to health and safety regulations and restaurant standards

• Communicate and collaborate effectively with kitchen and FOH staff

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of fine dining experience

• Strong multitasking and communication skills

• Excellent customer service and attention to detail

• Comfortable living and working in a rural, communal setting

Compensation & Benefits:

• $17.13/hour + tips

• Employee housing: $200/month (valued at $700/month)
