Come guide with us at CAC!  We are based 30 miles west of Denver where the foothills hit the Rocky Mountains.  We are the only outfitter in Colorado that offers whitewater rafting, zipline and a ropes course all in one place.  Our facilities are modern, including an outdoor bar for bands and socializing, and our access is unparalleled.

Our rafting team provides rugged, exciting, and well instructed adventures on Clear Creek, one of the top 5 most rafted rivers in the US. Our team practices excellent guest service, genuine friendly atmosphere, and professional emergency prevention and response. 

We are offer free trips for guides' friends/families, sick pay and low cost on-site camping on our 15 acres of land (not scrunched in a paved parking lot like most companies).

Job Duties and Responsibilities - 

• Provide safe and quality river tours for guests through constant monitoring, detailed instruction, and appropriate prevention and intervention

• Communicate clearly with all teams, departments, and management by actively listening and seeking feedback

• Assist boathouse team in inspection and set up of equipment, preparation for tours, and documentation of work performed

• Calm and capable of performing rescue interventions, incident response, and incident documentation

• Keep work and living areas clean and safe

Required Qualifications - 

• Minimum age of 18  

• Education - High school diploma or equivalent 

• Experience - No prior experience necessary, training classes available

• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Willing and able to participate in adventures, thorough and efficient work practices, and able to adapt to a variety of situations

Work Conditions and Schedule - 

• 8-12 hour long days of constant physical activity, 30-40+ hour workweeks 

• Variety of isolated outdoor settings in ever changing weather conditions 

• Must be able to work seasonally from ~May to mid August/early September, depending on water levels

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Position type: Seasonal 

Pay Range: $16-$22 per hour (+$10-20 per hour in tips), depending on experience, training, and certification
