Our maintenance department is looking for another team member

Our maintenance department is looking for another team member to help care for more than 30 properties on Mackinac Island, including hotels, restaurants, retail spaces, employee housing, and residential buildings. This is a year-round position. Summer is fast-paced and guest-focused, while winter shifts to maintenance projects, renovations, snow removal, and preparing our properties for the next season.

What You’ll Do

·        General building maintenance and repairs

·        Painting and basic carpentry

·        Basic plumbing and electrical repairs

·        Move furniture, equipment, and supplies

·        Assist with remodeling and renovation projects

·        Snow removal and exterior maintenance during the winter

·        Respond to maintenance requests as needed

What We’re Looking For

·        Able to perform physically demanding work, including frequent heavy lifting

·        Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all seasons

·        Dependable and willing to tackle a variety of projects

·        General maintenance experience is required
