Cheerio on the New River

Cheerio on the New River, formerly known as Cheerio Adventures, is a YMCA Summer Camp based through the YMCA of High Point. Cheerio Adventures was established in 1982, but became Cheerio on the New River in 2022. Our goal is to expose campers and staff members to the natural beauty of the great outdoors in a challenging, fun, and memorable camp experience.

Cheerio on the New River is located in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia. Nestled on 150 acres and 1.5 miles of riverfront property, we offer a blend of onsite camp activities and off-site trip adventures.
