The Seasonal Media Coordinator is responsible for capturing and sharing the daily experience of summer camp with campers, families, and the broader camp community. This position combines photography, videography, storytelling, social media, and creativity to showcase the excitement, relationships, and memorable moments that make camp special.
The Media Coordinator will spend each day immersed in camp activities, capturing authentic moments while ensuring families receive a consistent glimpse into their camper’s experience.The Media Coordinator is a member of the Leadership staff.
Room and board is included for this seasonal position.

Cheerio on the New River
Cheerio on the New River, formerly known as Cheerio Adventures, is a YMCA Summer Camp based through the YMCA of High Point. Cheerio Adventures was established in 1982, but became Cheerio on the New River in 2022. Our goal is to expose campers and staff members to the natural beauty of the great outdoors in a challenging, fun, and memorable camp experience.
