Catalina Island Marine Institute

Catalina Island Marine Institute (CIMI) is a STEM-based, outdoor science school that provides exciting marine science education for 4th- through 12th-grade students at two locations on Catalina Island.

Our two facilities at Fox Landing and Toyon Bay are located in private coves on Santa Catalina Island, California. 26 miles off the coast of Southern California, surrounded by hiking trails, buffalo herds, and kelp forests. We also have job opportunities at our business office in San Clemente, CA.
