Cape Fox Lodge is a charming retreat offering 69 lovely rooms and offers a myriad of amenities and some of the most scenic views in Ketchikan. The rich native Alaskan history and the trails of the Tongass National Forest are just steps away. The lobby features a river-rock fireplace, and a pine-beamed ceiling where guests relax and feel the close connection of nature and history.

Located above the vibrant waterfront town of Ketchikan and surrounded by the Tongass National Forest. Saxman and Ketchikan are located in Southeast Alaska on Revillagigedo Island, approximately a 1.75-hour direct flight from Seattle.

We have limited company managed dorm style housing in two different buildings in Ketchikan.

Getting Here and Getting Around

New employees coming from out of town generally fly into Ketchikan and/or arrive using the Alaska State ferry. Once on the island, a vehicle is not required but certainly simplifies getting around. Personal vehicles can be brought over using the ferry. 

Employees can also take advantage of the comprehensive Ketchikan bus system and use bikes or scooters.

For Fun

The Ketchikan area offers an abundance of outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, kayaking, boating, ziplining, whale watching, cycling, and sightseeing.  Wildlife abounds with eagles, bears, etc. There are great shopping and cultural activities as well if you prefer to stay indoors. In addition, the Ketchikan Parks and Recreation Center offers activities, programs, and exercise. Activities include basketball, racquetball, swimming, soccer, arts and crafts, and roller skating.
