Co-ed Camp ~ Land, Water and Lasting Friendships
Camp Watitoh is a coed residential camp located in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts. We provide a safe and supportive environment where each of our campers can live out their summer dreams and make them come true in their summer home. Each year we strive to find dedicated, motivated individuals to work with kids and teach athletics and other camp activities.
In the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts. Excellent location for hiking, boating, and outdoor recreation!
About Camp Watitoh
Our summer home has a warm atmosphere that encourages lifelong friendships, fun activities, and personal growth. Watitohans enjoy an active program of land and water sports, creative and performing arts, special events, evening activities and outdoor adventures. We provide a nurturing environment that enables campers to experience the rewards and challenges of acquiring new skills and exploring new areas of interest.
Friendships are at the heart of Watitoh, and those friendships begin in the cabin. Groups of 8-12 boys or girls live together with 2-3 cabin counselors who spend the day with their campers. Watitoh stresses a high caliber of cabin counselor, and much of our staff have been at the camp for multiple summers. The size of each age group assures every camper the opportunity to fully participate in all individual and team sports and activities, and to maintain a family-like relationship with fellow campers and counselors.
The daily program includes both land and water sports. Girls and boys participate in program activities separately and then join together as a whole camp for meals, free time and evening activities. Cabins of the same age are scheduled for daily activities as a group. An hour-long elective period, during which each camper chooses his or her preferred activity highlights the afternoon. Evenings are filled with all camp special events and activities such as weekly Sports-a-Rama night, campfires, shows, socials and game nights.
