On picturesque Crescent Lake in southern Maine, about 35 minutes from Portland.

About Camp Crescent Cove
Camp Crescent Cove is looking for spirited, energetic, and dedicated individuals to join our summer staff! Our camp is built on the foundation of the Three C’s—Compassion, Confidence, and Community—and we are seeking team members who embody these values and are eager to create unforgettable experiences for our campers.
The Employee Experience

Ideal Candidate
We are looking to build out our Team with individuals who are energetic, responsible, and passionate about working with children. Prior camp experience is a plus but not required—we provide training and support to help you succeed! We strive to give our staff the opportunity to create an unforgettable summer for our amazing campers while gaining a meaningful and rewarding experience in return.
Room and Board
Our modern bunks are spacious and light filled with showers, sinks, toilets, hot water, and electricity within. Each bunk is nicely ventilated with screens on all the windows and doors. All cabins are furnished with custom designed wooden bunk beds. Closets and cubbies are provided for storage space. Counselors live in cabins with 8-10 campers.
There are options for non-bunk staff to live in a cabin with other like staff or in more private accommodations.
All meals and snacks are provided. Each meal will have multiple menu options. Also, meal choices are available to meet specific allergies and diets.

Having access to your own car is the easiest method to get around and explore Maine while you are at The Cove. Staff parking is available on property.
Pick up from Portland International Airport (PWM) and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is available
For Fun
Camp Crescent Cove is 80+ acres located in southern Maine on the crystal clear waters of Crescent Lake. There is an abundance of activities on campus and in the surrounding areas. You have the opportunity to take a kayak, paddleboard, canoe or sailboat to explore the lake on time off.
Off property, we are 35 minutes from Portland, ME, 45 minutes to the White Mountains, 2.5 hours from Boston, Mass., and 3 hours from Acadia National Park. There is so much to explore during days off!
Current Job Openings
Safely operate motorboats for camper activities (tubing, wakeboarding, waterskiing).
Perform daily safety checks on boats and equipment.
Help maintain waterfront & equipment
Help foster an inclusive and accepting camp environment
Live with and mentor campers
Serve as a positive role model for other campers
- Conducting auditions and assign parts for our production within each session.
- Organizing and choreographing the production, costumes, and stage props.
- Overseeing and directing staff, who will work alongside you teaching campers the magic of theater.
Waterfront/Lifeguard/Boat Driver
Boat Driver Responsibilities include:
Animal Care Instructor
• Lead engaging and educational animal care activities for campers.
• Assist in the daily care and well-being of farm animals and horses.
• Collaborate with our barn team to perform routine chores and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive atmosphere where campers feel confident learning new skills.
• Serve as a positive role model, demonstrating responsibility, compassion, and enthusiasm for animal care.
Ceramics Instructor
• Develop and lead engaging ceramics lessons for campers, covering hand-building, pottery wheel techniques, and glazing.
• Tailor instruction to small class sizes (5-10 campers), ensuring appropriate grouping by age and skill level.
• Utilize and maintain kilns for various projects, including clay firing and glass fusing (experience preferred).
• Foster a supportive and creative studio environment, encouraging campers at all skill levels.
• Inspire campers by sharing the magic of clay, guiding them through the artistic process with enthusiasm and patience.
Nurse
• Administer daily medications and provide routine medical care to campers and staff.
• Triage and treat minor injuries and illnesses in the health center.
• Maintain automated medical records for all campers.
• Prepare and distribute first aid kits for out-of-camp trips.
• Accompany campers to offsite emergency appointments and hospital visits as needed.
• Communicate with parents regarding medical concerns in a professional and reassuring manner.
