Job Overview:
Black Bear Manor, a charming 10-room bed and breakfast in Ouray, CO, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping & Guest Services Associate to join our team. This is a live-in position, and housing will be provided on-site.

The role may be a temporary seasonal placement (approximately 3–6 months) or could transition into a long-term position depending on performance, fit, and mutual interest. The position requires working five days per week, with a busier schedule during peak season (Memorial Day–Labor Day).

Key Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail with a passion for cleanliness and organization

• Experience in housekeeping preferred (full training provided for the right person)

• Friendly, personable, and guest-focused attitude

• Reliable, trustworthy, and highly dependable

• Flexible, adaptable, and positive can-do approach

• Basic property maintenance skills are a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms after check-out to high presentation standards

• Maintain cleanliness in common areas and throughout the property

• Prepare and serve a simple breakfast (training provided)

• Greet guests and assist with check-in when needed

• Respond to guests' needs warmly and professionally to create a welcoming atmosphere

Schedule & Expectations:

• Heavier workload during the summer season; slower winter pace

• Typical shifts: ~6:00–10:00 AM breakfast prep & guest service, followed by housekeeping until ~3:00–4:00 PM (hours may vary)

• No formal degree required — we hire for attitude, work ethic, and attention to detail
