Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Neapolitan Pizza Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience preparing authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas, including dough preparation, fermentation, stretching by hand, topping pizzas with high-quality ingredients, and cooking in a wood-fired or high-temperature pizza oven.

The successful candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional quality and consistency with every pizza.

Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic Neapolitan pizza dough using proper fermentation techniques.

• Hand-stretch dough and prepare pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards.

• Operate and maintain a wood-fired or gas-fired pizza oven safely and efficiently.

• Prepare fresh ingredients, sauces, cheeses, and toppings.

• Monitor dough fermentation, proofing, and inventory levels.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station.

• Follow all food safety and health regulations.

• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely service.

• Maintain consistency in presentation, taste, and cooking quality during busy service periods.

• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Neapolitan Pizza Chef or Pizzaiolo preferred.

• Strong knowledge of traditional Neapolitan pizza techniques and dough fermentation.

• Experience operating high-temperature pizza ovens.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.

• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
