Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Porter and become an essential part of delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly, efficiently, and hygienically, enabling the culinary team to focus on creating delicious meals.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold high hygiene standards.

• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients under supervision.

• Support the kitchen team with food handling duties, ensuring proper storage and safety procedures are followed.

• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, floors, and storage areas throughout shifts to promote a safe working environment.

• Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling protocols are followed in accordance with health regulations.

• Help with organizing supplies and stock levels to ensure ingredients and utensils are readily available for meal service.

• Support catering events or special functions by assisting with setup and breakdown as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment or food industry setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is valued.

• Basic knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures.

• Familiarity with cooking techniques, knife skills, and meal preparation is advantageous.

• Experience working in restaurants or catering services demonstrates an understanding of fast-paced food service operations.

• Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining attention to detail in food handling and cleanliness standards.

What we offer:

The ranch sits on 36,000 acres of private ground ranging in elevation from 8,200' to 14,000'. The ranch is here for you to enjoy and explore in your time off. On top of your base pay you will receive a season end bonus and this is a tipped position with tips averaging over $1,000 per month. What we offer:
