Line Cook – Bald Mountain Camps (Rangeley, Maine)

Spend your summer working on the water in the Rangeley Lakes Region. Bald Mountain Camps is a busy waterfront resort located in Oquossoc, Maine on Mooselookmeguntic Lake. We operate a high-volume restaurant and bar, along with cabins, events, and weddings throughout the season.

We are currently looking to add an experienced line cook to our kitchen team as we head into a busy summer season.

Position Overview

This is a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen position that requires consistency, organization, and a strong work ethic. Our kitchen handles everything from regular dinner service to large events and weddings.

We are looking for someone who can:

• Step onto the line and contribute immediately

• Stay organized under pressure

• Maintain quality and consistency during high-volume service

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Bald Mountain Camps standards

• Work all stations on the line as needed (grill, sauté, fry, etc.)

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace

• Assist with prep work and stocking

• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff

• Help support event and wedding food service when needed

Requirements

• Previous line cook experience required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and peak summer hours

• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude

• Attention to detail and pride in quality food

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

• No pets allowed (if utilizing employee housing)
