Arrowhead Lodge & Resort is a family-owned and operated destination located on the shores of Voyageurs National Park on beautiful Lake Kabetogama in Northern Minnesota. Our historic lodge—the oldest of its kind in the park—is a gathering place for guests and the local community alike.

We are proud to have a close-knit team of about 20 amazing crew members who value work-life balance, teamwork, and opting outside whenever possible. Our bar is known for its classic Arrowhead 1920 Old Fashioned and margaritas you wouldn’t expect this far from the Caribbean, while our restaurant serves juicy burgers, crisp fresh salads, and our infamous walleye.

Position Summary:

We are seeking friendly, energetic, and guest-focused Bartenders / Servers to join our restaurant and bar team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with people, working in a lively environment, and taking pride in great food, drinks, and service.

All Arrowhead team members are cross-trained and work together across departments to ensure every guest leaves with unforgettable memories.

Key Responsibilities:

Restaurant & Bar Service

• Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome

• Converse with guests and create a fun, relaxed atmosphere

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently

• Prep and mix classic and custom cocktails

• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally

• Take reservations and process payments

• Maintain a clean, organized bar and service area

• Complete daily side work and cleaning tasks

Team & Guest Experience

• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff

• Deliver excellent customer service—all the time, every time

• Assist in other departments (housekeeping, dock, maintenance, etc.) as needed

• Help ensure every guest leaves with wonderful memories of Arrowhead Lodge

Qualifications:

• Positive, friendly, can-do attitude

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Bartending or serving experience preferred, but we’re happy to train the right person

• Must be reliable, team-oriented, and guest-focused

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced restaurant and bar environment

• Standing for extended periods

• Occasional lifting of trays, kegs, or supplies

• Evenings, weekends, and some holidays required

Spring/Summer Resort Hours of Operation: 

• Open Daily 11am-11pm 

• Hours may vary based on resort traffic. 

Winter Hours of Operation:

• Open Daily 4pm-11pm

• Hours may vary based on resort traffic.

**We are opened year-round, however traffic significantly slows in November and April allowing for plenty of time off!
