Come spend your summer working in a remote Alaska fishing camp!

We're looking for a skilled, team-oriented Camp Chef / Cook to join us for the remainder of our season at our remote Alaska fishing camp! Do you have what it takes to work in a challenging and demanding environment? 

Our camp is located on the Alaska Peninsula, approximately 120 miles from the nearest town, surrounded by incredible scenery, abundant wildlife, and some of the best fishing Alaska has to offer. You'll have the opportunity to work with incredibly fresh seafood, including salmon, halibut, lingcod, and rockfish.

Position Details

• Season: July 31 – September 23

• Location: Remote Alaska Peninsula

• Compensation: Competitive monthly salary plus weekly tips

• Included: Round-trip transportation to camp, room, and board

About the Role

Guests stay with us on Saturday-to-Saturday trips. As our Camp Chef, you'll be responsible for preparing:

• Breakfast each morning

• Afternoon appetizers

• Dinner each evening

• A nightly dessert

• Some dishes throughout the day (guides do most the dishes) 

• Help with setup & breakdown

We've developed a rotating preseason menu that is designed to make the season enjoyable and manageable. The menu is well organized, includes a mix of simple and more elaborate meals, and is flexible so you can add your own creativity and personal touches.

Camp Life

Our operation is intentionally small and personal. Each week you'll be cooking for 14 people total:

• 8 guests

• 4 fly fishing guides

• 1 camp assistant (who also helps in the kitchen)

• You, the chef

This is a true team environment where everyone works together to create an unforgettable experience for our guests. Must be in good physical shape as the stairs up to camp are 68 steps. We carry weekly groceries and staff bags up the stairs.

• Comfortable shared (double-occupancy) accommodations. Cabin tents with cots and mattress pad.
