Adventure Discovery School

Adventure Discovery School was built for neurodivergent teens with ADHD, AuDHD, executive function challenges, and learning differences. We pair personalized academics with social-emotional learning and adventure-based education, so students who haven’t fit anywhere else can finally make sense of school and start to grow.

Our School is based on the shored of Lake Junaluska in the Smokey Mountains. Each expedition our students travels to a new location, in a new style of travel. Examples include: -Nantahala National Forrest and Joyce Kilmer old growth forest wilderness area -Cumberland Island and Okefenokee Swamp -Washington DC (City Trip) -Costa Rica -Suwannee River Wilderness Area Just to name a few!
