What you’ll be doing

• Sell, upsell, and inform travelers of tours and activities provided by East Zion Adventures 
• Enhance travelers experience with area information and assisting in traveling plans
• Assist in managing promotional campaigns and daily deals

 

What you will need to be successful 

• Passion for hospitality, excellent service, and team success
• Enthusiasm for communicating and engaging with guests
• Experience or a degree(s) in hospitality services are great but not required to apply
• Have team attitude showing humility, hunger, and people smarts when working

 

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay starting at $10 - 12/hour, subject to experience and length of employment. Additional commission as well as bonus incentives.
• Onsite dormitory style housing UPON AVAILABILITY (deposit of $200 and maintenance fee of $5 daily apply). All utilities included (laundry, wifi, water, power, sewer, etc).

What you’ll be doing

• Assist guests in checking in and finding their lodging reservation
• Provide insightful information to help better the guests experience
• Assist guests purchasing items in the gift shop and snack items
• Answer phones to provide help to guests with questions

What you will need to be successful

• Passion for hospitality, excellent service, and team success
• Experience or degrees in hospitality are great but not required to apply
• Have team attitude showing humility, hunger, and people smarts when working

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly rate DOE, Estimated hours per week 40 (5 days on 2 days off)
• Onsite dorm style housing UPON AVAILABILITY (deposit of $200 and maintenance fee of $5 daily apply). All utilities included (laundry, wifi, water, power, sewer, etc). 
• Shuttle service available to those traveling from Kanab, Mt. Carmel and Orderville
• Discounted meal plan provided

How you can make a difference

• Consistently provide clean and maintained lodging to each guest of our resort
• Lead and inspire a passion for providing great experiences at Zion Ponderosa
• Take it upon yourself to be sure the details of success are executed each day

What you’ll be doing

• Work with crew leader and other managers to produce a clean quality first impression for each guest in every lodging type
• Training on and capable of completing your assigned station beds, bathrooms, kitchens, floors, laundry, public spaces etc.
• Organize all stations of equipment and keep it clean during shift
• Potentially assist with other lodging types or resort areas when asked by manager
• Train others when asked on elements you show skill in
• Assist in all nightly cleaning and re setting duties
• Be an example of proper guest interaction and resort representation
• Do your part to be organized to get arrivals ready for check in by 4pm
• Contact stay over guests for any needs within their lodging

What you will need to be successful

• Humble attitude to help anywhere, Hungry enough to work hard to do your part and Smart ability to manage co worker and guest emotions to reach success
• Attentive to the details that need to be followed through with in a timely matter
• Experience in cleaning professionally is great, but not necessary

The line cook is responsible for the day-to-day operation and food preparation for the restaurant and other food and beverage outlets as assigned. The line cook will be responsible for preparing items on all menus and ensuring safe and quality food items with excellent and prompt service to guests.

 

• Ensure that all opening and closing duties are performed fully on a daily basis and that cleanliness and maintenance are maintained
• Stock station with necessary items, ensure par levels are maintained, and keep stations clean and organized
• Prep all meal and line items for meal period
• Help to prepare employee meals as needed
• Provide highest quality and consistent cooking skills in all dishes prepared according to proper timelines and recipes given
• Prepare and present all meals according to standardized recipes and plating
• Maintain proper food safety and sanitation standards in all preparation
• Report directly to the Head Chef

Job Specification:

• 1+ years cooking experience
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on a team in a fast paced environment
• Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail
• Ability to follow directions and recipes with exactness
• High standard of personal hygiene and appearance
• Knife skills and up to date knowledge of modern food preparation
• Ability to be on feet for several hours at a time
• Servsafe training preferred, Utah food handler’s permit
• Must pass background check and random drug tests

The prep cook is responsible for the day-to-day operation and food preparation for the restaurant and other food and beverage outlets as assigned. The prep cook will be responsible for preparing items on all menus and ensuring safe and quality food items with excellent and prompt service to guests.

• Shuttle guests to several trailheads
• Provide insightful information to help better the guests experience at our property and in the Zion area, particularly through an extensive knowledge of Zion National Park hikes and recreational areas
• Assist guests in booking activities, utilize reservations systems
• Answer phones to provide help to guests with questions 
• Ensure a high level of organization and cleanliness in your direct areas of work
• Maintain equipment and vehicles under the jurisdiction of EZA
• Maintain current CPR and First Aid certification

 

What you will need to be successful 

• Must be over 18 to drive shuttle vehicles 
• Must be over 21 years old to drive resort vehicles: jeeps, can-ams
• Passion for hospitality, excellent service, and team success
• Experience in some areas of outdoor recreation with an emphasis on safety
• Experience or degrees in hospitality are great but not required to apply
