About Glacier National Park Lodges (Xanterra)

Spend the summer of a lifetime working at these historic lodged deep within Glacier's wilderness. Opportunities exist at Lake McDonald Lodge, Many Glacier Hotel, Swiftcurrent Motor Inn, Rising Sun Motor Inn, Village Inn, and Two Medicine camp store.

Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate will have a love of guest service and the great outdoors.

People who possess a strong work ethic, responsibility to self and others, and a sense of adventure will do well in this environment. Candidates able to work the entire season (May-September or June-September) are preferred.

Room and Board

Employee Meals and Lodging is provided at a cost of $13.00 per day.

Generally, employees live in rustic, dormitory-style accommodations with shared restroom and shower facilities at their designated worksite. Rooms are generally equipped with single-sized beds (or bunk beds), a small dresser, and small closet space. All employees share a room with 1 to 3 roommates. Pets and non-employees are not permitted in company lodging.

Off-site RV spaces (with full hook-ups) are also available at a cost of $12.25 per day.

Employees eat in a central employee dining room (EDR) on property. Three (3) hot, cafeteria-style meals are prepared daily with core items available all day. Please note that because of the large number of meals prepared each day, we cannot accommodate restricted diets. Kitchen facilities are not available for employee use.

Getting Here and Getting Around

Applicants are responsible for their own transportation to Glacier. A personal vehicle is not necessary, though helpful to access the Park and surrounding areas on days off.

For Fun

Employees will have access to over 700 miles of maintained hiking trails in Glacier National Park, white-water rafting, boat tours, camping, cycling, horseback riding, and fishing.

Photographers will be able to capture pristine and beautiful landscapes.

Those interested in wildlife will view dozens of animals in their natural habitats.

Employees will live and work with people from across the United States, Europe and Asia.

Employees will have access to Employee Recreation Rooms that have a variety of games and activities at their disposal, including pool tables, board games, ping pong, cards, books, and satellite TV.
