The Employee Experience
At the Tsaina Lodge and Rendezvous Lodge we pride ourselves on providing excellent service to our customers while making it a place where the Employees can relax and be themselves, a home base for the exploration of the surrounding mountains and streams. The Chugach National Forest and the surrounding areas offer many opportunities for skiing, hiking, fishing, rock or ice climbing and photography just to name a few.
Our employees stay free of charge in communal yurts situated on-site at both Lodges and have access to lodge and yurt amenities with limited restrictions. We have an employee meal program for $70 per week. This includes items for breakfast, lunch and snacks with a hot buffet style dinner every day. Due to our very remote location, we are not able to cater to any special dietary needs other than a vegetarian diet. However, we do allow our staff to purchase their own food in town and store it in the communal yurts.
On both sites we have a gym, a bar, a restaurant, employee showers and toilets, laundry, internet access, board games, and a community yurt with a TV and small kitchen appliances.
Ideal Candidate
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our seasonal team within various hospitality related positions. As a member of the team, you will live on site and play a crucial role in curating a memorable experience for all of our Guests. We strive to provide a positive and fun work environment and seek adventurous individuals with a love for the outdoors, strong work ethic and the ability to uphold the high standards of excellence our clients have become accustomed to.
Room and Board
Our Lodge Staff are housed free of charge in yurts on site in our Employee Villages. Accommodations are warm and comfortable, but rustic. This is communal living environment, and the yurts are divided into 6 private slices. They are fully furnished with twin beds, bedside drawers, lamps, and outlets. Each employee will receive a bag with bedding and pillows upon arrival. The shower and restroom facilities are located in separate buildings just steps away from the Employee Villages.
We need to repeat that due to our very remote locations, we are not able to cater to any special diets besides vegetarians. However, we do allow our staff to purchase their own food in town and use the storage in the community yurts.
Employee Perks
