$30 – $33/hour Hiring Range DOQ · Non-Exempt

The Town of Jackson is seeking a few qualified, motivated professionals to serve the community this winter as a Street Operator focused on snow removal operations and ancillary duties. The position is 40 hours/week from November 15 through April 15. Primary duties: snow removal operations including plowing, hauling, heavy equipment operation, and street sweeping. Depending on snowfall, secondary duties may include boardwalk repair, sign maintenance, meter repair, equipment inventory and similar types of duties. Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.

The ideal candidate brings:

• A positive attitude and public service orientation.

• High School graduation or equivalent.

• Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). 

• Experience with snow removal operations.
