About Tony Harper's Pizza & Clam Shack, Inc
Tony Harper's Pizza & Clam Shack is a fast-casual restaurant group in the Adirondack Mountains of NY, with four locations. We serve quality, scratch-made food, including pizza made fresh daily and craft cocktails, with live bands on weekends and a fun, energetic vibe.
We like to think of ourselves as pioneers in an increasingly difficult industry. We find solutions together with our staff and move forward — whether it's a pandemic, rising inflation, or supplier shortages. We meet these demands as a challenge, and we always keep our staff and our guests as our main priorities.
We believe maintaining regular, consistent hours of operation and stability is important to our guests and staff during uncertain times. We believe the experience within our walls should be a good one for staff as well as guests. We've learned a lot over the last 22 years about ourselves and our company. We love our guests, but we cherish our staff! Together, anything is possible.
We're looking for full-time seasonal employees. Come live, work, and play with us in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains — if only for a short while! We are currently open to hiring a bartender to finish the summer season at our two busy bars. If you can't commit for the winter season but can stay until October 15th we are interested. We are looking to replace a early departure.
The Employee Experience
Have you heard the expression "work hard, play hard"? We think that sums it up. If you enjoy being busy while the hours fly by, this might be a good fit. If you are called upon to fill multiple positions and enjoy learning new things, this could be the place for you. If you sometimes find it exciting to be pushed out of your comfort zone a little by doing a job you are not familiar with or working with the public when you aren't used to it, then this is where you should be.
We like to cross-train staff when they are willing. Most of our cooks also know how to take orders, some of our FOH staff like to get involved in the kitchen. We all do dishes occasionally. We are upbeat and guest-obsessed even when our feet hurt. We gather with our coworkers, new friends, often with the regular guests you get to know. It's a small town. We watch the trains and the day-trippers leave and we are left with the most beautiful landscape to call our own. People flock here for a reason. There is much to do and explore.
Ideal Candidate
Self starter, motivated. People who truly enjoy making a difference. If you like going the extra mile to make a guest happy and enjoy working as a team, this will be a good fit.

We have a few locations that are premium either meaning private bedroom or more amenities. This includes internet and all utilities. Housing is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We try to house friend groups together when possible. All housing is either onsite or within walking distance or a short drive (except Raquette Lake 10 miles from Old Forge) Housing is limited to staff only, working full time for the length of your employment contract.
