Spend your season working in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains in Upstate NY. The Little Fox is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable seasonal cook to join our team. With an opportunity for a year round position, experience is required. Join our small staff of 5-6 employees and make life long friends. 

We are a lively Adirondack restaurant serving creative, flavorful dishes to locals and visitors. Come experience everything the area has to offer, hiking, biking, kayaking, skiing, snowmobiling, fishing and lots of water, mountains and nature.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Prepare and cook menu items consistently and efficiently

• Follow recipes, presentation standards and food safety guidelines

• Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked workstation

• Communicate with staff members to ensure smooth and timely service

• In charge of deliveries and inventory

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Previous restaurant or professional cooking experience

• Dependable, positive and able to work with a team

• Strong attention to quality and presentation

• Ability to pitch in wherever needed

• Two positions available one to start ASAP and second to start December 1

COMPENSATION is based on experience and employee housing (private rooms) are available, including utilities (water, gas, electric, internet) and the cost is ($0) free. A meal is also included on the day/shift that you are working.
