From precision fish cutting and fresh vacuum packing to sub-zero freezing and friendly counter service, our crew handles every step to bring premium, sustainably caught salmon, halibut, and crab straight from the ocean to seafood lovers nationwide

Ideal Candidate

Room and Board
Room and board is provided at a rate of $15.00. We have dorms, dual to up to six person occupancy. There is a community kitchen, multiple bathrooms and dining/break room. Laundry facilities on site are free.

Getting Here and Getting Around
Initial transportation from the airport arrival is provided. Personal transportation for the city of Soldotna/ Kenai and beyond is recommended. Bikes are highly encouraged.

There is world class salmon fishing is 200 yards away from the shop and you're in Alaska - endless adventures abound!
Current Job Openings
Freezer Crew
You will be organizing customers fish, boxing customers orders. Working in the freezer for many hours of the day. Keep our supply chain moving by managing inventory, organizing stock, and freezing our top-tier products.
Counter Worker
The friendly face of Tanner’s. You’ll assist customers, share your love of seafood, and handle retail sales. Stock and face shelves and clean the showroom.
Fish Processor
Depending on your skill you will be filleting, portioning, or vacuum Packing fish. We will put you in the position that be suits us with you skill level. No experience required but preferred if you have some.
Fish Cutters: The heart of our production. You’ll skillfully handle, fillet, and portion prime Alaskan fish with precision.
Fish Vac Packers: Help us lock in that fresh-from-the-ocean quality by operating our vacuum sealing and packaging equipment.
*You will get a lot of overtime. Overtime pays 1.5 base salary.
