Surprise Valley Hot Springs is looking for a professional, self-motivated couple/team to help us maintain the magic of our 22-room, adult-only oasis. This year-round role offers a rare lifestyle: living in a spacious, furnished apartment with your own private indoor geothermal soaking tub. This position is ideal for a couple or a two-person team seeking quiet and peaceful surroundings.

Your off-hours will evolve with the seasons: vibrant spring hikes, warm summer stargazing, crisp autumn drives through the Warner Mountains, and peaceful winter snowy days relaxing in your private mineral hot tub. Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidates are a self-reliant couple/team seeking long-term employment. These positions are perfectly tailored for a dynamic duo:
Maintenance Lead independently working 30 hr/week.
Housekeeping Support working 6 hr/week with the rotating housekeeping crew.
Both individuals need to be professional, self-motivated and organized. If you are looking to settle into a quiet community year round we would love to hear from you.
Room and Board
The Housing (The Best Perk!):
Private Residence: Apartment #19 a furnished 1,300 sq. ft. 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment.
Included Amenities: In-unit dishwasher, washer/dryer, Starlink internet, and all utilities (water, electric, septic).
Your Own Tub: Apartment #19 includes a private indoor geothermal soaking tub for your exclusive use.
Lifestyle Requirement: Because the unit is surrounded by guest rooms, the occupants must maintain a strictly quiet, professional lifestyle to ensure guest tranquility.

Note: No other benefits (such as health insurance, retirement, etc.) are included with these positions.
Getting Here and Getting Around
Because of the remote nature of the property, employees must have reliable transportation for all four seasons.

Housing Included: A private 2-bedroom, 1-bath furnished residence (1300 sq/ft) located next to guest rooms.
Amenities: in-unit dishwasher, washer/dryer and a private indoor geothermal soaking tub. Utilites included.
Lifestyle Requirement: Because the unit is surrounded by guest rooms (adjacent and above), the occupant must maintain a strictly quiet, professional lifestyle to ensure a tranquil environment for our guests.
Occupancy: Couple/Team for the 2 positions, Maintenance Lead and Housekeeping Support
Housekeeping Support: Perform 6 hours of weekly support turning over rooms and deep cleaning. Note: Sundays are the busiest days.
1+ year deep cleaning, willing to train for turning over rooms.
Ability to work independently and as a team member of the housekeeping staff.
Professional demeanor and a high level of respect for guest privacy and silence.
Comfortable living and working in a remote, high desert environment.
Housing Included: A private 2-bedroom, 1-bath furnished residence (1300 sq/ft) located next to guest rooms.

Occupancy: Couple/Team for the 2 positions, Maintenance Lead and Housekeeping Support
General Maintenance: Perform 30 hours of weekly upkeep, including plumbing, light electrical, carpentry, and painting.
Geothermal Hot Wells and Artesian Cold Well Systems: Monitor and maintain artesian cold well holding tanks along with geothermal hot well sources for radiant heating and private soaking tubs.
Groundskeeping: Maintain the exterior grounds to resort standards.
Emergency Response: Serve as the on-site point of contact for urgent repairs (leaks, power issues, etc.) outside of standard hours.
2+ years of experience in property maintenance, construction, or trades.
2+ years previous plumbing and electrical experience is necessary
Ability to work independently and manage a weekly task list without direct supervision.
Professional demeanor and a high level of respect for guest privacy and silence.
Comfortable living and working in a remote, high-desert environment.
Housekeeping Support
