Suncadia is a premiere all-season resort. We exist for people, connecting and living their ideal life amongst our more than 6,000 acres of forested mountain landscape. With 40+ miles of hiking and biking trails, thirty-six holes of golf, a luxury spa, and unapparelled activities, the opportunities for our guests, owners, and team members to find their nature are endless.
Suncadia is tucked away on the sunny slopes of Washington's Cascade mountains; 80-miles east of Seattle and the Puget Sound. The surrounding towns of Roslyn and Cle Elum have rich historical roots and are minutes to Suncadia. Situated at the base of the Cascade Mountain Range, the summers are dry and warm with snowy picturesque views in the winter months.

For two decades, Suncadia has been, arguably, Seattle’s most beloved nearby mountain resort. But our story actually traces back to the last ice age, whose push and pull shaped our beautiful landscape, which nurtured the native Yakama, prospectors, coal miners and pioneers before us. As a member of the Kittitas Conservation Trust, Suncadia is committed to honoring this extraordinary history and land through sustainable building practices, prioritizing open spaces, and preserving pristine forests and meadows. Out of our 6,400 acres only 2,000 will ever be developed – ensuring the enjoyment and beauty of the land for future generations.

Suncadia Resort employees love where we work, and share a passion for hospitality, and being outdoors. Due to the convenient location of our staff housing, there is little separation between work and home during the season. Your teammates will quickly become your closest friends, on and off the clock. For this reason, it’s important that you’re flexible, communicative, and work well with others.
Room and Board
We have extremely limited housing options for our Team Members however those with vehicles have more options. All housing options are shared rooms, nonsmoking, and a 10-15 drive to the property for $550 per person, per month, which includes Wi-Fi and utilities. Homes are co-ed, meaning both male and females reside in one home with shared bathrooms.
Extremely limited on-site Housing is within walking distance from the job site. Suncadia will provide a system for rides to the town center and weekly grocery runs. Once in the town center (Cle Elum), students can access a free public transit system (limited services, but is available) and a paid bus that can take them to Seattle. For those with vehicles at our off-property housing in Cle Elum, you'll be right downtown and only 15 minutes from the property.

Getting Here and Getting Around

For Fun
Employees will have access to experience our summer activities (paddle boarding, bike rentals, recreation activities, etc.). In addition, the students will have access to the local communities of Roslyn, Cle Elum, and Ellensburg - giving students the experience of living and working in small rural mountain towns in the United States. Additionally, Seattle and the greater Puget Sound region of Washington are accessible by bus. Many previous students have taken day or weekend trips to explore the cultural center of Seattle and its surroundings.
Throughout the season, students will have the opportunity to experience the culture of an American hospitality company. We have monthly events, a Team Member Golf Tournament in September, and smaller pop-up events and activities.
