Give the gift of learning to ski while earning above average compensation. Snow Schoolers is a team of dedicated snowsports instructors, determined to make a difference for their employees and the industry as a whole.
Who we are:
SnowSchoolers.com is one of North America’s few independent ski school programs, offering affordable, high-quality ski and snowboard lessons for families in Tahoe and Colorado. As opposed to large resort-based ski school, we offer low pricing, online reviews, easy online booking, and we pay staff industry-leading wages while keeping lesson costs the lowest for customers.
Our Locations (Tahoe City in CA, Frisco in CO):
Considered a hidden gem by many, Granlibakken Tahoe is known by locals to be the best place for first time skiers and snowboarders. Much much smaller than the nearby large resorts (e.g. Palisades Tahoe, Northstar), it is perfect for young families looking for an authentic introduction to winter sports. Lift tickets start at just $35 and private lessons start at just $85! Granlibakken is often described as a "small and intimate" lodge that includes all the core amenities a family needs, from lodging and a spa to a full-service restaurant and bar.
Our Frisco, CO location sits smack dab in the middle of the busiest and most expensive ski county in the country, Summit County. Conveniently located right off of I-70 and within ~20minutes of four destination resorts (Breck, Keystone, Copper, Arapahoe Basin), Frisco is the affordable and family-friendly solution to both Summit locals and visitors looking for an excellent learning environment that doesn’t break the bank.
Who we’re looking to hire:
Personable and professional people who love to teach and learn. In order to succeed with Snow Schoolers, you do not need to be the best skier on the mountain. But you must love working with all ages, especially children, and have an authentic passion for snowsports. Whether it is your first-year teaching or your 10th, we provide you with the support, training, and resources to ensure that you can confidently and effectively deliver safe and fun learning experiences.

Must have legal right to work in the USA.
Previous teaching experience required, whether or not in the ski industry. Level 1 certification is to be completed during the season for all first year coaches.
Previous PSIA-AASI (or equivalent) certification preferred.
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct beginner ski lessons at our Granlibakken location, ensuring a safe learning environment for all guests in varying terrain and weather conditions.
