There is nothing quite like fall in the San Juan Islands! Join our team and enjoy living and working in our little island oasis.
As we wind down from the busy summer season, we are looking for new team members to help care for our guests throughout the fall and winter. This is a wonderful time to join us, learn the property and settle into the role before our busier spring and summer seasons.
We have opportunities for seasonal employees who can commit to a minimum of six months, as well as permanent employees interested in staying through the 2027 summer season and beyond.
At heart, this is a hospitality-centered role. We are a small, hands-on team, and most positions combine several responsibilities. Front-of-house team members should expect to work throughout the hotel and primarily the café, including:
Making coffee and working as a barista
Taking orders, running food, bussing and assisting with café service
Checking hotel guests in and helping with guest needs
Cleaning guest rooms and assisting with housekeeping
Restocking and cleaning shared spaces
Pitching in wherever needed during the shift
Because the role touches many parts of the business, it is a great opportunity to learn how a small hotel, café and bar operate. Team members gain experience in guest service, food and beverage, hotel operations and housekeeping rather than working in only one area.
We are looking for flexible, curious people who enjoy variety, work well as part of a small team and are equally comfortable serving guests and helping keep the property clean and welcoming.
Our historic 10-room hotel has an on-site café open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., serving hotel guests, visitors and locals. We are hiring for several positions, and schedules will generally include a mixture of responsibilities throughout the week.
At least one year of hospitality experience is required. Relevant experience may include barista or café service, bussing, food running, baking, bartending, front desk work, housekeeping or similar guest-service roles.
Pay is based on experience, and on-site housing may be available.
Candidates must already have valid U.S. work authorization for the full employment period. Visa sponsorship is not available for these positions.
If you are interested in joining our team, please send your résumé along with answers to the following:
