Who: Licensed massage therapists or acupuncturists looking for a meaningful practice opportunity in a supportive community.
What: Provide massage or acupuncture treatments in Ratna Ling Retreat Center's newly expanded Wellness Center while participating in the life of a mindfulness-based retreat community.
Where: Ratna Ling Retreat Center, nestled among the majestic redwoods on California's spectacular Northern Coast, with easy access to the Pacific Ocean.
When: We welcome applicants throughout the year. Scheduling and length of stay are flexible based on availability and mutual agreement.
How: Offer treatments to retreat guests attending yoga, self-care, and meditation programs. Outside of treatment hours, you'll have opportunities to contribute alongside other volunteers in the garden, kitchen, lodge, or other community activities.

Ratna Ling Work Study Volunteer Program
All-volunteer community dedicated to preserving Tibetan Buddhist culture and expanding our human potential based on Buddhist teachings. Includes housing, meals, living allowance, Buddhist classes and practice. Work includes making Buddhist books, support Retreat guests, Buddhist publishing, vegetable garden, kitchen, maintaining and beautifying the grounds. Learn new skills, share your own!
