MotoQuest is a motorcycle tour and rental company started in Girdwood Alaska in 1998. We use BMW GS series motorcycles for rentals and guided tours throughout the west coast, Alaska, and Baja. We also guide tours in multiple countries around the world. We are all excited about motorcycle travel and love working with them.

About MotoQuest
MotoQuest is a twenty-six year old motorcycle rental and tour company, based in Anchorage, Alaska. We have three motorcycle rental locations spanning the west coast of North America, allowing riders from all over the world to rent at any location for round-trip or one-way adventures.
We run well-outfitted and late-model BMW GS adventure motorcycles for rent and for tours.
The Employee Experience
We work hard so we can play hard. The shop is a very fast-paced environment open 7 days a week with lots of new and returning characters working and visiting every day. Most of our guests are adventurous spirits coming from all corners of the world with amazing stories of their travels. Our goal is to make sure we do our part above and beyond to help them add another amazing story to their list. Staff is encouraged to get out on their weekends to experience and see what Alaska has to offer.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for people who have a love for motorcycles & travel with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates ideally currently ride motorcycles

We do not provide housing. We offer resources for finding housing in the area.

Getting Here and Getting Around
Air travel - We are roughly a 10 min drive from Ted Stevens International Airport for flights around the state and lake hood for sightseeing flights.
Bicycle - Anchorage is a very bike able city. Our shop is located minutes from Taku Lake that connects to Campbell Creek Trail. We have hooks inside the shop to safely store your bicycle during the day while you are working.
Bus - We have a bus stop within a 5 minute walk from the shop
Car - Anchorage and Alaska in general is a very vehicle-reliant place. A motorized form of transportation is highly recommended especially if you plan to venture out of the city on your days off or want to stay out of the weather. Parking at the shop is limited and on busy days we usually park on a nearby side road
Motorcycle - Come on, isn't this why we're here? Alaska is a great place to travel and discover by motorcycle. A large portion of our crew commutes by motorcycle. If bringing your motorcycle bring every kind of gear you have from warm to wet. The conditions even in town can change quickly so you'll want to be prepared.
Rideshare / Taxi - Ubers, lifts and Taxis are widely available in town
For Fun
Alaska is an outdoor paradise with plenty to do on your weekends. Anchorage in particular has lots to do even after work since the sun is always up.
Active - Activities like hiking, kayaking, cycling, and even a motocross track are all within easy reach in or close to town.
Hungry - Anchorage boasts over 100 languages spoken, with residents from all over the world. You can imagine the wonders this does for our food scene! You could go the entire summer and not eat the same thing twice! Between the small restaurants and food trucks, there's a little bit of something for every foodie craving.

This position requires the ability to manage one's own time with respect to the daily goals and priorities of an ever changing environment.
Primary duties will be customer service, administrative, manual labor, errand runs, washing motorcycles and janitorial duties.
Must be able to lift objects up to 50lbs and push heavy 500+ lbs motorcycles.
Gmail, Google Drive, an internet based rental software program and a CRM database will be used.
Other duties as assigned
Candidates must have their own reliable way to get to and from work and arrive on time.
Valid driver's license with a motorcycle endorsement
Ability to push and maneuver 500+lbs motorcycles
Love motorcycles
Excellent customer service skills

Position is full time seasonal, five days per week, 8:30am to 5:30pm and schedule is subject to variation depending on the needs of the business. Job starts May 2025 and ends September 2025 with the possibility of continued work.
