Migis Lodge is a secluded destination resort and a unique Maine vacation experience. We are Maine's Premiere Full American Plan resort and our guests at Migis Lodge enjoy all activities and 3 meals each day - inside our Main Dining Room, lakeside at Cookout Point, or on our private island!
Located in South Casco, Maine, on the northern edge of Sebago Lake, our lodge offers 35 guest cottages ranging in size from studios to six bedrooms, along with 8 guestrooms inside the Main Lodge.
Migis Lodge recently celebrated our 109th year of operation and we look forward to inviting back our guests year after year, generation after generation. Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
Room and Board is provided for qualified employees. Some full-time seasonal positions offer the possibility of on-site staff housing in our staff dorm with double or triple rooms with private baths. There is a boarding charge of $50 - $75 per week, which is taken directly out of your paycheck. There are coin-operated laundry facilities on-site. Migis does have wireless internet available on the property. If you live in the immediate surrounding area you will not be eligible for housing. Pets are not allowed on the property.
Meals are provided for resident staff and for others during working hours, or if you live on site.
Employees can enjoy swimming in beautiful Sebago Lake and can use all of our facilities (boats, fitness center, tennis courts, disc golf, private island, etc.). Migis guests take first priority for our amenities. We also invite our employees to join us for a complimentary dinner during specific dates at the beginning of our season. This is a way to experience our dining program as well as assist in the training of our new staff. As part of Migis Hotel Group employees are entitled to a reduced rate if they would like to stay at any of our other properties. This must be arranged through the reservations staff. We also offer 50% off to any employee dining at our food & beverage establishments.

During your time here at Migis Lodge we would encourage you to take advantage of the on site activities we have to offer. There are also many activities in the Lakes Region area you can explore. A local bus makes twice daily trips to and from Windham & Portland, the stop is a short walk from our driveway. The nearby city of Portland (about 45 mins away) makes for a great day trip to explore the beaches, shopping, restaurants and much more.

Do you love the feeling when you whole house is freshly cleaned? Do you feel like you've accomplished something when your room is immaculate? Do you love to vacuum? Housekeeping might be for you! Clean lakeside cottages - make beds, vacuum, dust, clean bathrooms all as part of a team of 2 or 3 housekeepers (you never have to work alone!). Housekeepers enjoy daytime shifts only (start at 6:45 or 8:45 each day) so you will have every evening free!
Hours: Full Time, typically 6:45am to 3:30pm - Flexible - Some Part Time employment is available.
Compensation: $18.50-22.00 per hour + additional 7% incentive payment of total wages.
Seasonal Position: April - October 2026
Start date: April/May/Early June

This is a great chance to enjoy working on one of the most beautiful locations on Sebago Lake. Work with a waterview for most of every day! Daily housekeeping is provided for our guests, who typically stay a week, so you will get a chance to interact with and get to know our guests. You will have the opportunity to learn to make the perfect bed, the importance of straightened fringe on area rugs, learn how to effectively pack a housekeeping cart, and develop an eye for just the right look for our luxuriously rustic cottages.
Housing may be available to full time candidates who can commit to either a full summer or full season at Migis.
Migis Lodge on Sebago Lake is looking for Dining Room Servers for our seasonal resort. Flexible working hours!!! Each season we hire staff members who are willing to work hard to provide great guest service and to help us provide an idyllic vacation experience. As a Dining Room server, you will be working a combination of Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner shifts. We offer three meals daily with indoor and outdoor options. We offer full and part-time seasonal employment for dining room servers. This is a great opportunity to learn the skills required to be a successful server, which will give you skill which can be transferred to future jobs. This position helps you grow your teamwork, communication, and patience skills. Compensation: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour, depending on experience + additional incentive payment of 7% total wages. This is not a tipped position.

Taking a job as a server at Migis allows you to work in one of the most beautiful settings on Sebago Lake at Maine's premiere Full American Plan Resort? What's a Full American Plan resort? Guests enjoy three meals a day and full use of the resorts activities as part of their rate. This is a great first serving job - we will provide all the training. The skills you learn at Migis can be a great stepping stone to other serving positions! You will learn all about proper service techniques, different foods and their preparations (our menu changes daily), about food allergies and safe food handling. You will have the chance to work with the same guests throughout their stay and so will develop a bond with "your" guests. A quick smile, an outgoing personality, and the ability to be quick on your feet are all key to success.
Are you looking to work outside? Would you like to work with a lake view? Do you know a thing-or-two about boats, canoes, and kayaks? Then our Waterfront/Groundskeeper position might be just right for you! Our Groundskeepers are responsible for maintenance of our waterfront areas including docks, beaches, and lounge chairs, as well as maintaining and providing basic assistance to our guests in using our boats, canoes, kayaks, and paddle-boards. Groundskeepers also assist with light maintenance tasks, maintaining our walking trails and disc golf course, as well as helping us create our quintessential Migis wood stacks! Morning (6:30 am to 2:30 pm) and Afternoon (10 am to 6 pm) shifts available. This has been a great first job for local applicants, which has lead to growth within our Resort!

Position Summary:
Contribute to the overall success of Migis Lodge by attending to the waterfront, lawns, and other grounds and amenities under the supervision and coordination of the Head of Maintenance.
Do you like working outside? Are you a people pleaser? Are you able to complete tasks unsupervised and independently? If you are interested in learning about almost every aspect of working in hospitality, our Cabin Steward position is for you! Cabin Stewards are responsible for meeting & greeting newly arrived guests, assisting them with luggage, and providing an orientation to the resorts property and amenities. In addition, Cabin Stewards are responsible for daily cottage services including laying fires, filling wood boxes, delivering fresh ice and glassware, cleaning cottage porches, and providing light maintenance services. Cabin Stewards interact with all levels of Resort management, as well as most other department employees, so the position will provide an opportunity to gain real insight into the operation of Maine's premiere lakeside Full American Plan resort.
Hours: Full-time. Three shifts: 6:30am to 3pm, 8:30am to 5pm, or 10am to 7pm
Compensation: $16.50- $17.50 per hour, depending on experience. + 7% of wages incentive payment

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Bellmen/Valets/Cabin Stewards are responsible for greeting guests, assisting with moving luggage, orienting guests to accommodations and property, as well as assisting with light maintenance and deliveries of messages, packages, faxes, etc. to guests and other staff members. This position requires an outgoing personality, strong attention to detail and the ability to work without constant direct supervision. This job is for candidates who like being on their feet and who think quickly on their feet. Past Cabin Stewards favorite part of the job is being able to be outside all day enjoying interacting with guests and working under the pines along the shores of beautiful Sebago Lake. You will be an ambassador, a problem solver, a smiling face, and an answer center for our guests. You will have the chance to form bonds with guests as part of your frequent daily interactions.
