Assists the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing all aspects of housekeeping operations at Mammoth Mountain Inn.
Coordinates activities with other key departments in hotel to ensure the highest quality of service and hospitality.
Motivates staff to the highest level of efficiency and productivity. Accountable for financial, employee, and guest service goals of the department.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a quality hotel supervising a housekeeping staff of at least 10 employees.
Four year college degree preferred.
Strong work ethic. Ability to effectively communicate to guests, employees and management.
English as well as Spanish language skills preferred.
Ability to perform under pressure and with deadlines. Ability to solve problems using common sense and hotel policy. Working knowledge of business software with emphasis on MS Excel, Word, and Power Point.

Provides safe and efficient operation of the lifts through correct maintenance and repair.
Ensures that all service standards and precision performance goals are achieved in order to ensure a good guest experience.
10 + years of Lift Maintenance experience.
5 years of supervisor experience.
Able to work within and manage operational and capital budgets as they apply to lift construction and maintenance.
Have a very good working relationship with the State Tramway Board and a strong understanding of ANSI B77 and ASMT codes that apply to our permanent and temporary amusement rides .
Have a strong understanding and working knowledge with OSHA, Company and Department safety practices, and work within these practices on a daily basis.
Demonstrate the ability the work within Mammoth’s mission, vision and values system. In addition, help grow, lead and drive our business forward using the Alterra Competency Model.
Be able to work with all outside departments in a positive, friendly and professional manner.
Demonstrate the ability to change to the changing demands as required by the Company and/or the Department and show a strong desire to bring the Department to the next level of overall performance.
Must be able to generate, plan and approve work orders in MaintainX.
Be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.

Supervises the Juniper Springs Resort Front Office Representatives during assigned shift.
Assists the Management Team in establishing and implementing training programs.
Represents the management in solving guest problems regarding policies and procedures.

Administers and oversees all aspects of hotel housekeeping operations, including workforce planning, employee relations, payroll, scheduling, procurement, budgets and common areas .
Collaborate cross-functionally with key departments in hotel to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, excellent customer experience and employee motivation in the most efficient and productive way, aligning with departmental financial and guests’ services goals.

Responsible to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot Snowcats.
Two (2) years minimum on the job experience in diesel engine repair, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
Understanding of digital VOM and concepts such as DC Current Theory.
Occasional lifting of heavy objects.
Position requires ability to work while standing the majority of the day.
Must be able to read and comprehend service manuals and simple instructions and prepare written documentation on repairs and service performed.
Strong verbal communication skills and mathematical ability required for various calculations and calibrations.
Schedules vary, and may include swing shifts for the winter season.
This job requires outdoor work under heavy weather conditions with heavy equipment on a year-round basis.
Must have a valid Class C California Drivers License with less than 3 points.
High School graduate with auto shop or trade school experience.
Ability to deal with standardized situations, with only occasional or no variables.
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
