    A little about this position:

    • Join the team that creates and delivers an extraordinary bike park experience and inspires participants to become lifelong bikers. 
    • Assist guests with all aspects of bike rental process for mountain & town. 
    • Rental functions will include: providing information, selling all bike rentals, bike school, protection packages & fitting, ticket products, taking deposits, basic servicing of bikes, providing an overview of safe operation & trail recommendations based on ability.
    • Performing maintenance on bikes to meet our service standards, accurately recording information and signatures to manage risk.
    • Maintain and improve the resort experience through assisting guests in numerous aspects of our summer operations

    Requirements:

    • Experience in bike industry preferred
    • Able to manage assigned tasks and meet deadlines.
    • An ability to work in a team oriented environment with an upbeat, enthusiastic personality
    • Strong mechanical aptitude & ability to problem solving abilities.
    • Operate in a high energy environment & able to lift 40 pounds.
    • A passion for working with participants of all ages and abilities in a summer environment is a prerequisite for this position.
    • Exceptional guest service skills.
    • Basic computer skills are a requirement.
    • Must be able to work holidays and weekends
    • ‘Everybody Shovels’. Other duties will include shoveling snow from trails, covering lunch breaks at kid’s activities etc.  Assisting other departments for whatever is needed in numerous aspects of our summer/winter operation.

    • In this role, you will help directly oversee the daily outdoor operations of the tubing park & mountain coaster including managing lift operations, staffing levels, grooming, and equipment maintenance.  This position requires business management skills and knowledge of operations, maintenance, safety, staffing, and financial responsibility in line with the goals of the company. The manager has responsibility for providing an outstanding experience through superior guest service as well as a positive work environment for staff.  The addition of the day lodge & summer activities will further expand the position to encompass the lodge experience and additional outside attractions.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 2 years in experience is Ski/snow, adventure activities or other attractions industry. Experience working in adventure sports preferred.
    • Minimum 2-year experience managing a line level staff required, including scheduling, hiring, and performance management.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and positively with guests of all ages and skill levels.
    • Must have a high level of initiative and independent judgement.
    • Must be able to identify object dangers and follow strict safety protocols.

    Motocross

    Motocross Caution Flagger - TEMPORARY

    A little about this position:

    • Unique Motocross experience, up close and personal with riders from around the country.
    • Spend your days in the outdoors watching and helping the motocross riders.
    • Safety is our number one concern, this means for you and the riders.
    • Flaggers are stationed around the track to act as an extra set of eyes for oncoming riders.
    • If a rider is stopped on the track between you and the next flagging station it’s your responsibility as a flagger to wave the yellow flag to alert other riders to slow down and possibly the medics to assess the situation.
    • Staying alert and aware of your surrounding is key; our flagging stations are set up in safe locations on the side of the track.
    • Unless an unsafe situation arises, flaggers should remain at their stations anytime a rider is on the track.
    • These bikes range from 50cc to 450s. If at any time a flagger is uncomfortable it’s important to contact the lead for that day so we can help the situation.
    • These can be long days in the elements, protect yourself by wearing sunscreen, staying hydrated and wearing the appropriate clothing.
    • Lunch, snacks and water are provided throughout the event.
    • The track is only accessible by bus. Pick up and drop off will happen in the Vons parking lot. 

    NOTE: This is a temporary position that will run from June 20th – 29th

    Requirements:

    • Standing in the elements for 7-10 hrs.
    • Ability to wave a flag.
    • Always carrying a flag and wearing a safety vest while clocked in or on the track.  
    • Move efficiently in outdoor/wooded areas.
    • Remain alert throughout the shift.

    • Uses fabrication, welding, and machining techniques to build, repair, and maintain resort equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
    • Operates a variety of welding, fabrication, and machining tools, including mills, lathes, brakes, shears, saws, grinders, and CNC cutting tables.

    Requirements:  

    • Education & Experience:

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel/resort management, with at least three (3) years in a leadership role within the rooms division.
    • Strong knowledge of front office, housekeeping, and reservations operations.

    A little about this position:

    • Mammoth Mountain Ski Patrollers must be able to provide first aid in both clinical settings and on-slope environments. They must understand and implement mountain safety practices and be able to perform avalanche mitigation techniques based on their experience and skill level. Patrollers must possess the ability to work as part of a team, follow directions, and demonstrate rational decision-making and conservative risk management practices. 
    • Applicants must demonstrate advanced to expert level alpine skiing ability prior to being considered for employment.
    • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible for employment with MMSP.
    • Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
    • All hired applicants must complete the Ski Patroller Training course. Continued employment with MMSP is contingent upon successful completion of the training course.

    Requirements:

    • Drivers transport guests to and from lodges, hotels, and nearby destinations.
    • Responsibilities: DMV-required inspections, paperwork, fueling, fluid checks, tire chaining in adverse weather, bus cleaning.
    • Variable schedule; some evening/night work. Part-time considered. Typically, 4 days/week, up to 10 hours/day. Enjoy 3 days off to play in the Sierra!

    Requirements:

    • No more than 2 points on a current Driver’s license. Must have a current Class A or B license with passenger and air brake endorsements.
    • Safety Sensitive position subject to DOT drug and alcohol regulations.
