This position will actively solicit all types of business, groups, clubs, churches, and so on for summer and winter business and follow up with Ticket Sales office for processing. Would be lead in posting marketing pieces daily to all social sites including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snap chat and YouTube. They would help with some groups when they arrive as far as introductions and logistics. Support on and off area marketing promotional events and guests events and be part of season pass sales processing team. Would shoot pictures and videos for posting and respond to guests’ questions or concerns. Skilled in digital editing of short videos. Flexible to days and hours.

This is a fast-paced sales job. It requires strong communication skills, and the ability to explain, and pair the guest with the appropriate product. The Terrain Park Supervisor/Builder will oversee daily maintenance of the terrain parks. Has good public relations. Sets a good example of terrain park etiquette at all times. Keeps track of and maintains tools and equipment (rakes, shovels, drills, radios, etc) Inspects and tests features within the terrain parks to ensure all features are free of damage and to determine if snow maintenance is required. Communicates with the Mountain Manager and Grooming Supervisor to go over daily plans and events.
This is a full time and year around potential position. The summer role would be determined based on experience and needs in our summer operations or Route of the Hiawatha Bike Trail.

Ticketing Agent is responsible for greeting guests in person and over the phone with a courteous and pleasant demeanor. Agents are responsible for selling daily lift tickets and season passes. Ski Patrol is a team-oriented department focused on providing our guest with excellent customer service on or off the mountain. In addition to emergency rescue and mountain safety, ski patrollers are hosts, guides and information centers. You will sometimes be asked to undertake details or to perform tasks that are not specifically mentioned in this job description or completely outside your area of responsibility. Your willing, cheerful and enthusiastic cooperation is expected and greatly appreciated.
Primary Job Qualifications:
A positive attitude and enthusiasm is a must. You must be in superb physical condition as this job requires very hard laborious work during long periods of intense cold or heat and harsh weather. Activities include hiking, shoveling snow, operating chain saws, using hand tools, lift evacuation training and anything else that you can imagine that this industry has to offer in regards to the tasks that need to be accomplished. In other words, you will be a jack of all trades.

Work Schedules
Weather conditions and the number of guests play a large role in the work scheduling of Lookout Pass employees.
When conditions are normal, you can expect to work 4 to 5 days a week at 40 to 50 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
Work schedules, staffing levels and weather conditions may dictate when lunches and breaks will be taken.
You must arrange for transportation to work so you arrive at your designated workstation at the scheduled time. Keep in mind that you will often be required to drive on hilly, snowpacked, and icy surfaces.
Working Conditions
At any time during the ski season, Lookout Pass employees are often required to perform their tasks in high winds, heavy snowfall, low visibility, rain and extremely cold or warm temperatures.
Uniforms
To project a professional appearance at Lookout Pass, your department requires a uniform be worn, including a nametag. Please wear both at all times during your scheduled shift. Keep your uniform clean and in good repair.
We will provide most of the uniform for you to do your job. However, you will be required to provide some items as part of your job, as listed below.

Approved Routes for Skiing & Snowboarding

I understand that the approved routes for skiing for work purposes will be all-mountain within the ski area boundary. Any out of bounds skiing must be approved by the Pro Patrol Director. Out of bounds skiing would encompass backcountry orientation for search and rescue missions and would be documented as such training. Additionally, at no time will patrollers be allowed to participate in ski racing, terrain park jumping, jumping off cornices, horseplay and anything else that’s not in the scope of normal departmental duties.
The skiing employee represents a model for safe skiing for both the guest and fellow employees. You are required to be aware of all safe skiing/boarding procedures, trail closures, out-of-bounds policies and designated skiing and boarding routes.
