About the Role
The Renegade is a private mountain property surrounded on all sides by the Bridger‑Teton National Forest, and we're looking for a dedicated, resourceful Caretaker to live on site and look after it year round. This is a highly independent role for someone who can do a bit of everything: plowing roads in January, mowing and clearing brush in July, and troubleshooting a frozen water line whenever one comes up.
You'll be our eyes and ears on the property. Safety comes first in everything you do, from keeping roads clear for emergency access to keeping utility systems running in a remote setting. You'll work on your own most days, but you're never on your own. You'll be a key part of the larger Hugo Wyoming Management team, and you'll represent us to our partners at the US Forest Service and to our neighbors.
What You'll Do
Winter operations and access
• Clear snow from roads, trails, and around buildings

• Safely operate and handle basic maintenance on snowmobiles, UTVs, and plow trucks

• Shut down and start up utility systems each season to prevent freeze ups and cold weather damage
Security and property checks
• Patrol the property regularly and serve as the on site presence that keeps out unauthorized visitors

• Inspect all buildings to make sure they're secure, weathertight, and free of pests or damage

• Diagnose and fix minor plumbing, electrical, and structural issues before they become major repairs
Grounds and infrastructure
• Mow, clear brush, and control weeds to keep the property looking good and maintain defensible space for wildfire safety

• Test and maintain the water system, and keep an eye on propane, diesel, and gasoline levels so power and heat never run out

• Inspect and service property vehicles and small engines
Stewardship and community
• Keep the property organized and accessible for contractors working on projects

• Work closely with the US Forest Service and be a good neighbor to surrounding landowners
What You Bring
Required
• Willingness to live on site at The Renegade year round

• Experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment

• Strong problem solving skills, especially for utility issues in a remote setting

• Physical stamina for demanding outdoor work in extreme weather, including heavy lifting, shoveling, and hiking

• Clear, professional communication with the Forest Service, contractors, and neighbors

• Valid driver's license, and you must be insurable under our vehicle policy
Nice to have
• Experience in estate caretaking, ranch management, or remote facility maintenance

• Knowledge of rural water systems and utilities

• Wildland fire or forestry experience

About the Role
We're looking for a skilled, hands on Maintenance Technician to help care for the Jackson Fork Ranch. You'll keep our guest rentals ready for every arrival and help maintain a private owner's estate to the highest standard. It's a varied job: preventive maintenance and repairs one day, irrigation and groundskeeping the next, and snow removal when winter shows up.
What You'll Do
• Property maintenance: Handle routine and responsive repairs across our guest rentals and the private estate, so every building and system is safe, working, and looking its best.

• Building systems and work orders: Follow preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Complete work orders efficiently and keep clear records.

• Groundskeeping: Care for landscaping, irrigation, driveways, and common areas so the properties look great in every season.

• Seasonal work: Plow and clear snow, winterize and reopen systems, and get properties ready for whatever Wyoming weather brings.

• Safety: Follow safety protocols on every task, and report and address hazards right away.

• Teamwork: Report to the Maintenance Supervisor and work with the rest of the ranch team to get things done with minimal disruption to guests and daily operations.
What You Bring
Required
• At least 2 years of hands on maintenance experience, ideally in residential or hospitality settings

• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs

• Experience with groundskeeping, landscaping, and irrigation

• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

• Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle

• Availability for on call emergency response
Nice to have
• Experience maintaining luxury homes or high end hospitality properties

• Experience with Wyoming winters and mountain weather

• Knowledge of guest rental readiness standards

• Trade certifications or specialized training

 Position Overview
The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring that all homes located at Jackson Fork Ranch are kept impeccably clean, welcoming, and presentable for owners and guests year-round. This is a highly physical, independent role that requires someone who takes quiet pride in a job done right and possesses a keen eye for detail. Jackson Fork Ranch is part of a close-knit, independent mountain operation where every team member matters and no task is beneath anyone.
Key Responsibilities
Ranch Housekeeping & Sanitation
·       Perform deep cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitation of all residential homes and guest properties located at Jackson Fork Ranch.
·       Prepare and stage guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common living areas to luxury standards prior to summer guest arrivals.
·       Restock consumables across all properties — including paper products, soaps, linens, and related guest supplies.
·       Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and guest amenities, notifying management when resupply orders are needed.
Laundry & Logistics Coordination
·       Strip, collect, and sort used linens, towels, and bedding from all ranch properties.
·       Inspect all linens for stains or damage, ensuring only pristine items are returned to service.
Standards & Conduct
·       Work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision, managing time effectively across multiple ranch properties.
·       Interact with ranch owners and guests in a friendly, professional manner — you are a direct representative of the ranch.
·       Log any facility hazards, damages, maintenance needs, or appliance issues promptly so they can be actioned by the maintenance team.
·       Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and company policies at all times.
·       Assist with additional tasks as directed by management to support broader ranch, hospitality, and summer event operations.
Qualifications
Required
·       Reliable, self-directed work ethic with the ability to maintain exceptionally high cleaning standards without close supervision.
·       Physical ability to perform heavy housekeeping duties for extended periods, including lifting up to 30 lbs, walking stairs, bending, kneeling, and carrying laundry bundles.
·       Flexible availability to accommodate ranch guest schedules, including weekends, holidays, and peak summer operational periods.
·       Valid Driver’s License: Required for traveling between the JFR properties and running laundry to Pinedale.
·       Insurable: Must be insurable under Hugo Wyoming Management vehicle policies.
·       Must pass a pre-employment background check.
Preferred
·       Prior professional housekeeping, high-end hospitality, or luxury residential cleaning experience.
·       Familiarity with proper cleaning products, delicate surface care, and strict sanitation standards.
